Ever wonder what it would be like to be a secret agent? How fun would it be to be one for the day? What harm could it do; as long as you don’t break the law or put yourself in real danger? After all, you’re pretending, so your undercover work and spying needs to be as make believe as your day’s career.

How do you get your man’s attention when he has a one track mind…baseball! Give me a break! This sport is on more than any other sport in existence!

With summer time coming up on me I’m in the mood to throw some kind of theme party. After coming up with a few different ideas and I think the best choice is a backyard Hawaiian Luau. How much fun would that be!

No, it’s not a warm bacon and egg sandwich. They have a good time in common!
I’m going through and just searching the many costumes trying to get ideas of my next best joke or party or whatever (I’m not saying what) and I’m finding some really funny ones.
This one is a spitting image of my ex-husband. Too funny, he looks just like he did at a party we threw one Halloween. And yes, on a scale from 1 to 10, he also looked like a 2.

I remember my mom getting so excited when the Wizard of Oz was going to be the movie of the week on TV. She would always make a big deal about it. It was one of her favorite movies too.
As a little girl Dorothy wasn’t my favorite character, although, Toto was a cool little dog so I’m a little surprised I didn’t want to be Dorothy instead of the good witch on Halloween. This tomboy thought Glinda the Good Witch was beautiful and sparkly. She was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen and she had magical powers. It must have been the magical powers that intrigued me; I was hooked on Bewitched at the time too… lol… I would only dress up like Glinda though, never Dorothy.

Tough decision…lol
All make for a good time and can be a lot of fun. Take a wicked witch for instance; just about everyone has a little wickedness in them. We all know the bad guy always has fun, at least up until they get caught or lose.

Sticking to my theme of Saturday Night Live memories and one of my absolute favs from the show (John Belushi….there has been no one like him and never could be) it brought to mind Animal House. What a great movie; the “Death Mobile”, the toga costume party, the food fight, the disastrous parade, and so much more. All left such an impression on me.

Again…Saturday Night Live ruled in the 70’s. The humor lives on today. A perfect example is the skit of the Landshark. This out of water, land roaming “creature” would knock on the door and try its best to get the person in the skit to open the door.

It’s January 15, 1977. “Oh my goodness! What the…? What are they doing now! Who are these people?!” A bought of hard belly laughter instills! The kind that kills the stomach, makes the tears stream down the face, and a person fight to breath.
I remember the first time I saw them. They were shockingly odd and stupid looking, but this was the point. Saturday Night Live thrived on it.

It’s funny, as a teen I started my love for this show. As a young woman, I loved this show and as an “older young woman” I still love this show. SNL has been with me since the first night I sat on Felicia’s couch and watched it for the first time.
