Much hubbub was made about Bristol Palin not wanting to wear sexy costumes on Dancing with the Stars. You can imagine my shock when I saw her in a matronly grey suit. My first impression was dang, that’s taking it to an extreme. So I was pleasantly surprised to see her strip off that dowdy costume to reveal a sexy red flapper costume. It was just a few bars in Mamma Told Me (Not to Come) when she transformed from mom to hot mama. My dismay turned quickly to intrigue. If she sticks around, I think Bristol will surprise us with her costume choices as she starts to feel more comfortable on the dance floor.
As for these super sexy costumes you see on the show, not every dancer on DWTS needs to wear sexy costumes as sparse as Edyta Sliwenksa’s and then again, not everyone can. So Bristol’s Palin’s red flapper costume was just the right amount of sexy for her figure and personality. I think she looked beautiful. As for the dancing…well it is only week one.
